NxNW Texas

United Methodist Action Reach-out Mission by Youth (U.M. ARMY)  is a unique mission opportunity for youth, young adults and their adult mentors. We do not wish to “sell” you a mission trip. Instead, we invite you to participate with other church groups and individuals to combine your skills, talents and resources to do God’s work. We’ll spend the week working together in nearby communities to meet home repair and maintenance needs for low-income, elderly or disabled homeowners unable to pay for or to physically do the work for themselves. We’ll worship, learn from one another, share fellowship and build relationships with our neighbors in need of assistance as well as their communities.

U.M. ARMY – North x Northwest Texas was chartered in 2013 to provide mission opportunities in the North and Northwest Texas Annual Conferences of the United Methodist Church.  We welcome all denominations and faith traditions to join in with us and offer experiences for a variety of age groups. Our programs are hosted by United Methodist churches that see us as a partner in their local outreach efforts. U.M. ARMY works with social service, community and church organizations to identify people in need of our services. Jobs are selected and completed based on greatest need. Preparation, safety and teamwork are priorities for all mission participants.

Whether you are visiting our web-site for the first time or you are a long time participant in U.M. ARMY we welcome you and invite you to join with us this summer!

Looking to participate with us?  Not sure when or where to go?  Check here regularly for updates on weeks and locations.
