United Mission Action Reach-out Ministry by Youth (U.M. ARMY) is a unique mission opportunity for youth, young adults, and adult mentors. We invite you to participate with other church groups and individuals to combine your skills, talents, and resources to do God’s work. We will spend the week working together in
identified communities to meet home repair and maintenance needs for those unable to pay for or to physically do the work for themselves. We will worship, learn from one another, share fellowship, and build relationships with our neighbors in need of assistance as well as their communities. U.M. ARMY Northeast – As of October 2021, we have become one region. While we still maintain our growth area in the Mid-Atlantic, these two regions have consolidated. We will continue to offer and provide mission opportunities across
both regions.
U.M. ARMY Northeast – North region includes the following states: New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, and Vermont
U.M. ARMY Northeast – Mid-Atlantic includes the following states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and District of Columbia
We offer mission opportunities for all age groups: youth, young adults, and adults. We welcome all denominations and faith traditions to join in mission with us. Our programs are hosted by local churches that see us as a partner in their local outreach efforts. U.M. ARMY works with social service, community, and church organizations to identify people in need of our services. Worksites are selected and
completed based on the greatest need. Preparation, safety, and teamwork are priorities for all mission participants.
