Favorite U.M. ARMY Memory: Being able to work with an
awesome guy named Bruce Boyd, who recently passed away, who
showed me that life is what you make of it. I can still see
him smiling at me and giving me a big bear hug. He makes UM
ARMY worth the work every year just to know that he is
watching down on me.
What I hope for U.M. ARMY:I hope that UM ARMY will grow
to the point that everyone's wishes can be fulfilled and
everyone in need can be helped.

Favorite U.M. ARMY Memory: building a ramp for a woman
who had not been out of her house for almost 6 months. Now she
can go to church and physical thearpy. When it was finished,
she cried and called us angels.
What I hope for U.M. ARMY:I want UM ARMY to continue to
grow, and to touch more lives around the country, not only in
Texas.

our client's face after we totally renovated her kitchen, or
the time I ate a live earthworm at our site.
What I hope for U.M. ARMY:Just more of everything...
more camps, more people and adults involved, more sites
finished, and most importantly more people that come to know
Jesus Christ at U.M. ARMY.

Favorite U.M. ARMY Memory: In the UM ARMY of 2004 in
July our church went to Conroe. My client's name was Willie
and we were building him a wheelchair ramp. One day the camp
cooks stopped by on a visit and brought us yellow watermelon.
When we were eating this worn looking man stopped and looked
at us and said that it had been like fifty years since he had
seen a yellow watermelon, so we gave him some. He just walked
off slowly eating his watermelon and for some reason I will
never forget that moment.
What I hope for U.M. ARMY: I want UM Army to expand not
only statewide, but also nationwide eventually.
