From our Board President:

On behalf of the U.M. ARMY, Inc. Board of Directors, our chapters and staff, thank you for your continued involvement in this ministry—to serve people in need and develop leadership in our youth.
 
U.M. ARMY has been a growing ministry for the last 31 years, starting first in the UMC Texas Annual Conference and spreading within and outside of Texas.
 
You have made a difference in the lives of our youth as many, for the first time, experience giving back and doing for others less fortunate than themselves. Just as importantly, you are making a difference in our communities, reaching out to our clients who often have no financial nor physical means themselves.
 
As we celebrate the awesome ways that God has used all of us in this ministry, let’s take time to thank Him for allowing us to be His hands and feet and for the opportunity to grow individually and as a community.
 
As we move forward, I am excited to share with you that growth in U.M. ARMY is increasing. In 2009 we expect to establish a chapter in the UMC Northwest Texas Conference. We also have interest for a new chapter in the UMC North Texas Annual Conference, Central Texas Conference, Oklahoma, North and South Georgia Conferences as well as Tennessee, Louisiana, and Missouri. It is an exciting time for us!
 
Together, we look forward to making an incredible difference in as many lives as we possibly can through U.M. ARMY!
